Jul 30
As of today Lenovo Philippines launched its all new top of the line laptop that is designed for business and enterprise market. The said laptop was released as Lenovo Thinkpad T400s with several variants.
So what should we expect for this laptop? Well this Thinkpad is just simply one of the lightest variant compared to its competitor like with Acer Timeline and HP Pavillion laptops.
The following are the default specification for consumer release:
- 14.1″ display screen @ 1440×900 pixels
Intel Core 2 Duo SP 9600 2.53GHz (Low Voltage)
3GB DDR3 RAM
Intel X4500 Graphics
250GB SATA HDD
Built-in DVD-RW Dual-Layer or Blu-Ray
Gigabit LAN
WiFi 802.11n
5-in-1 card reader or 34mm ExpressCard
2MP webcam
Fingerprint Reader
VGA + Display Port
Bluetooth
6-cell battery (average of 6 hours battery life)
On top with its fascinating features it has an option for WWAN, WiMax, and GPS. A 3G Sim Slot is enabled for internet purposed but limited to Verizon 3G SIM as Lenovo haven’t partnered with local 3G/HSDPA providers. This is useful when there’s no internet connection like in a WiFi range or in a remote area provided that they have subscribed to an HSDPA provider.
Talking about price. As you may know this is not just an ordinary laptop on the market but it makes sense to business and enterprise use. The price starts @ P120,000 with a 3 year warranty. Well expensive that makes your warranty longer than the usual.
