Google Page Rank Update

Recently, about 2 days ago, I’ve read from a forum, called DigitalPoint Forums, as far as I know about this forum, they contain a lot of information from SEO to a wide range of topics regarding information technology and such the like topics. Now to continue, I saw a lot of posts that yet their PR (Page Ranks) had increased. As you may know, page rank is devised by Google, it measures not only how many links point to a website, but the “quality” of the sites providing the links.
And yes its true. I just discovered tonight as I saw Jay Edward’s status on Yahoo! Messenger, says that his PR had increased fronm N/A to PR2. And you know I am also hoping for that and so I tried checking up my PR for my other blog (http://josephrocks.blogsome.com), and yes its true, my PR had increased to PR2. I’ve also found out Sean Lester’s blog had increased their PR. They are both my classmate currently at the university. (just FYI)

As people have understood, PR’s are checked every three months, but yet they’re somewhat wrong. Google did an update of PR’s last month that was January 21st I think and now they’re updating again. Yet, this false information is now broke and proven not true.
This is a bit to celebrate but still I’m hoping to have a good or somewhat a higher PR for this blog. I still have to wait for another Google PR update, in order for me to determine the PR for this blog. 
really? buttons not yet updated? hmmm in my case, why i learned google’s just updated page rank is when i saw my PR went to N/A… really, i was shocked and trembled with fear.. hehehhe but then, i double checked at Prchecker.info, and i saw it’s still PR2… so what i thought was, the code for PR was a bit slightly changed, that is why the code i had on my blog wasn’t anymore applicable… so i got their NEW pr button code, pasted it on my blog.. there, it showed PR2… why’s not yours updated? try posting that button on your blog now, it should be appearing already..

prchecke just got update my blog. thanks for such info’s. my PR for my other blog (http://josephrocks.blogsome.com) is now visible.
I think it’s true… I tried having that pr button in my blog but the PR level suddenly went back to zero. But after a while, it became stable…

last time that I’ve heard from google PRs, many bloggers had a problem of the sudden decrease of their ranks… well, I’m glad to know that there were also numerous bloggers who had an increase now. I guess they earned those decrease back maybe?
btw, don’t worry ’bout the awards… you’re on the top of my list

Yes, I have already added you. I think you looked at the Link List on my menu bar. That one isn’t updated. Seek for you blog name at the right side menu bar of my blog then scroll down. once you see the menu title “Links” you’ll see all blog links including your blog. Your blog is at last one on my list.

This PR thing is getting really confusing. I’ve worked on my blog for 2 months and got a PR last Jan 21 update. Three weeks later it went back to PR0 because of my paid posts. But one blogger friend lost her PR too, what confuses me is that she has not done any paid posts on that blog. Ang labo di ba?
