Happy and Excited

Today is just one of my not that fancy but virtually fancy. And so, I was just happy since I got to manage updating my Intel-based Mac to its current version which is Mac OS X 10.5.5. Mac OS X version 10.5.5 provides the latest and up-to-date series of packages that will enhance my Mac Book into a blazing speed of 64-bit computing. Yep, they’re enabling 64 bit computing on this version.

Hmmm, on the other hand, I’m a bit excited since Globelines Broadband Inc. made a survey using their wireless internet service the one that comes with the ZTE modem device, which basically fails on their 1st step of survey which is the speedtest step. And so recommendation follows, Nonoy I guess, the name of the agent from Globe, says that it would be nice if the device will be installed together with a poled style antenna, which will be place on the top of our roof.Hmmm, pretty dull but its okay since they’re offering 1 Mbp/s on their bandwidth, not like on my current ISP which is Smart Broadband.

Since the recommendation is a bit good and I guess in this case there will now be a higher HSDPA signal that will be captured, and so Nonoy got my application, and in about 3 days, I will be shifting to my new ISP. As expected I should be getting more than 512 kbp/s. I’ll just blog about that speed test later, as soon as I got into their network. ;)
